    Mandela set for one more time period as SC Villa President – The Panorama Uganda

    5 choose nomination varieties for SC Villa Presidency

    Incumbent president of SC Villa Hajji Omar Ahmed Mandela Hussein is about to retain the place for one more time period.

    Mandela was solely candidate to return the nomination varieties on Saturday, seventh March 2026 which was set because the deadline day for returning of varieties.

    Earlier final week, the SC Villa electoral committee confirmed that 5 individuals who picked nomination varieties to contest for the membership presidency.

    “By closure of the submission deadline (seventh March 2026), just one candidate Mr Omar Ahmed Hussein (110-2025-V179726) returned and submitted duly accomplished nomination varieties and fulfilled all of the required situations. In linee with the Sports activities Membership Villa electoral tips, the Electoral Fee has forwarded Mr. Omar’s title and accompanying paperwork for vetting and additional processing.” Mentioned Brian Kajubi who serves as SC Villa Electoral Fee Chairman

    Hajji Meywa Farouq (110-2026-V550617), Mr Mbidde Dennis Ssebuggwawo (110-2026-V812014), Mr Bulezi Simeon Kawuma (110-2026-V812014) and Mr. Joseph Muguluma Mbazzi (110-2025-V130463) had been the opposite individuals who had picked nomination varieties however did not return them.

    Mandela will now be vetted by the SC Villa Trustees with the declaration set for tenth March 2026 and voting will likely be held on twenty second March, 2026.

    Muguluma, Meywa and Mbidde need FUFA to intervene and criticised the membership for staging up a non-refundable nomination charge of Shs 100M per candidate.

    Mandela returned to the helm in November, 2021 and through his management he helped the membership finish a 20-year title drought through the 2023/24 season.
