England forward Bukayo Saka “hopes to win everything” with Arsenal after signing a new long-term contract with the club.
It is understood the 24-year-old has signed a five-season deal until 2030, with sources having told BBC Sport it will make him the club’s best-paid player on wages in excess of £300,000 a week.
Saka’s contract extension comes as a major boost for the Gunners, as they battle on four fronts to win silverware for the first time since 2020.
“I believe the next few years are going to be the years that we get over the line, and we’re able to win trophies and make history for this club,” he said.
“We’re back where we belong, fighting for everything.”
Saka signed his previous deal in 2023 and it was due to expire in 2027.
Talks over a new deal had been ongoing for nearly a year, with Saka verbally agreeing to commit his future to the club in January.
He joined Arsenal‘s academy as an eight-year-old and if he sees out his new deal, will have been a professional at the club for 13 years.
“I just want to do everything to help bring glory back to this club,” he said. “I just hope [the fans] see that, and hopefully one day we’ll be able to celebrate that achievement together.
“I want to be able to look back and see a kid that started aged seven, eight years old on trial for Arsenal and then went the whole way to win every trophy that there is available to win.
“That’s the legacy that I want to create, and when I reflect at the end of my career, that’s what I want to see. That would make me happy.”
Saka’s new deal is the latest example of Arsenal tying down their key players to long-term contracts as they look to keep their title-chasing squad together.
William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly all signed new long-term contracts in the summer.
Saka has scored eight goals in 34 appearances for the Gunners this term, including the opener in his side’s 2-2 draw at Wolves on Wednesday night.
He made his first-team debut as a 17-year-old in 2018 after coming through Arsenal‘s academy and has gone on to make 218 Premier League appearances, scoring 58 goals.
Saka is 115 Premier League appearances behind Ray Parlour’s record 333 for the Gunners.
He has scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for England and is expected to be part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the World Cup which begins in June.
Arsenal are five points clear at the top of the Premier League and face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on 22 March.
The Gunners are also through to the the last 16 of the Champions League, as well as the fifth round of the FA Cup.
